Problem: I was looking for design practice one night.
Solution: I sat down at my trusty Macbook Pro and, a little while later, this is what came out.
Problem: Carol needed a site that was modern, easily navigated, and mobile friendly.
Solution: I designed and developed a site that would set her apart from her competitor's dated pages.
Problem: Friends of ours started brewing beer out of their home. I felt they needed a proper logo.
Solution: I designed a retro-inspired logo for their (as of yet) fictitious brewing company.
Problem: I was tired of using the same old, uninspiring desktop wallpapers.
Solution: I have designed a desktop wallpaper for (almost) each month of 2012, each contains a calendar and a Bible verse I wanted to be reminded of each time I sat down to do my work.
Problem: The 2011 tournament site was not mobile friendly and tournament organizers wanted a site that could be easily navigated by fans at the tournament on their mobile devices.
Solution: Using a mobile first process, I designed and developed a site that could be easily used from a phone or tablet and which scaled to a full-size monitor.
Problem: My wife's sister, brother-in-law, and their four children were preparing to be missionaries in Brazil and needed a blog & informational site to communicate with supporters.
Solution: I crafted a custom WordPress theme. The site gives their supporters a single point of connection to their family.
I'd love to hear from you. I'm available for freelance work starting in October 2012.
